U.S. Stock Futures Rise as Investors Eye Earnings Reports

U.S. stock index futures rose early Tuesday, driven by investor anticipation of upcoming corporate earnings reports. Nasdaq-100 futures led the gains with a 1.3% increase, reaching 29,245.25 points, according to Investing.com.
S&P 500 futures increased by 0.5% to 7,525.0 points, while Dow Jones futures gained 0.3%, reaching 52,247.0 points. The rise in futures comes as investors focus on earnings reports from major technology companies, including Alphabet, Tesla, Intel, and IBM, expected to be released this week.
The tech sector, particularly chip stocks, showed signs of recovery following last week's selloff. The S&P 500 and Nasdaq Composite both closed higher on Monday, with the S&P 500 up 0.28% at 7,478.57 points and the Nasdaq Composite gaining 0.58% to end at 25,667.46 points, as reported by Reuters.
Premarket data indicated a strong performance from semiconductor companies, with an index of five leading chip and storage firms posting average gains of 3.5%. These companies are projected to contribute significantly to the S&P 500's earnings growth for the second quarter, accounting for 44% of the increase, according to TS2 Tech.
