Trump Endorses House GOP Candidates Ahead of 2026 Midterms

Former President Donald Trump has endorsed seven Republican candidates in a bid to bolster the party's narrow majority in the House of Representatives ahead of the 2026 midterm elections. The endorsements were announced on Truth Social, Trump's social media platform.
Among the candidates endorsed is Anthony DiLorenzo, running in New Hampshire's 1st Congressional District. Trump's endorsement, posted on July 13, 2026, marks his first involvement in New Hampshire primaries since 2020. Trump stated, “Anthony DiLorenzo has my Complete and Total Endorsement to be the next Representative from New Hampshire’s 1st Congressional District – HE WILL NEVER LET YOU DOWN!”
In addition, Trump has thrown his support behind seven incumbent Republicans from Florida, including Cory Mills (FL-7), Aaron Bean (FL-4), John Rutherford (FL-5), Daniel Webster (FL-11), Brian Mast (FL-21), María Elvira Salazar (FL-27), and Carlos Giménez (FL-28). These endorsements were made on February 10, 2026, with Trump emphasizing their alignment with his America First agenda, which includes policies on border security, tax cuts, and energy independence.
The endorsements are part of Trump's broader strategy to maintain Republican control of the House, as the GOP currently holds a narrow majority.
