Lewis Hamilton Doubts Victory Over Kimi Antonelli at British GP
By Cameron Tate
Lewis Hamilton has expressed skepticism about his ability to challenge Kimi Antonelli for the win at the Formula 1 British Grand Prix. Starting from third on the grid, behind his Ferrari teammate Charles Leclerc and pole-sitter Antonelli, Hamilton acknowledged the performance gap, stating, "if he gets a clean run, he'll be gone."
Hamilton's comments come after Antonelli set a lap time 0.265 seconds faster than Hamilton's best during qualifying. The performance disparity was further highlighted in the sprint race, where Hamilton, starting from sprint pole, finished second, 2.745 seconds behind Antonelli.
Despite the challenges, Hamilton remains focused on maintaining competitiveness against his Mercedes rival during the main event at Silverstone.
